Welcome to Joel Hunt (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our mortgage brokerage services, including consultations, mortgage application support, refinancing guidance, investment property advice, and related resources (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older.
Services are available only to individuals or businesses located in Canada.
Services are intended for personal or business mortgage use only.
2. Account Registration & Responsibilities
You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and maintain it.
You must respond to our requests for information or documents within 48 hours to allow us to provide timely mortgage assistance.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials or login information.
You agree not to use the Services for illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purposes.
3. Payment Terms
Our Services may include consultation fees, brokerage commissions, or other agreed-upon service fees.
Payments are due according to the agreement with Joel Hunt.
Refunds are not guaranteed except where required by law.
You are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with the Services.
4. Company Rights
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Services at any time without prior notice.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for any other lawful reason.
We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
5. Intellectual Property
Joel Hunt Content: All materials, guides, documents, and content provided by Joel Hunt are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
Client Data: Data you provide, including mortgage application documents, remain your property. You grant Joel Hunt a limited license to use the data solely to provide Services.
You agree not to copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute proprietary content without prior written permission.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Services are provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee specific results, including mortgage approval rates, interest rates, or timelines.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.
While we strive for accuracy, mortgage advice or documentation may contain errors or delays, and you assume responsibility for their use.
7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Quebec, Canada.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved in the courts of Quebec.
Parties agree to attempt good faith negotiation before pursuing litigation.
8. Termination
You may discontinue using our Services at any time.
We may terminate your access for breach of these Terms or other lawful reasons.
Upon termination, your data may be deleted or archived according to our privacy and data retention policies.
9. Fair Use Policy
Services are intended for ethical and lawful purposes only.
Users must not misuse documentation, advice, or resources provided to manipulate mortgage approvals or for fraudulent activity.
We reserve the right to suspend or limit access if these limits are exceeded or Terms are violated.
